Difference between Anatomy and Physiology
1. Anatomy is the study of the physical structure of an organism. Physiology is the study of the function of individual parts, systems and an organism as an organism whole.
2. Anatomy contains two subdivisions: gross and microscopic. Physiology is more dynamic than anatomy, as it studies small processes to large, complex systems.
3. Anatomy is studied mainly by dissection. Physiology is best studied in living organisms.
