Differences between Login and Sign up

S.No. Login Sign-up
1 Login means authentication yourself as a returning user with the credentials you have for the application. Sign up means that creating a new user account and registering yourself to the webiste / application to access its features.
2 For login process, ony the main credentials for login like username / emailid and password are required. For Sign up process, basic information such as first name, last name, username, password, email, contact number, organization etc are required.
3 Once the account is created by sign-up, you can access all the features of the app by entering in the portal as a registered user by login. The first step to access all features of the application is to create your account by sign-up.
4 Login or Sign-in is a repeated process required every time when you need to access the features. Sign up is a one time process.
