Difference between Ionic and Covalent compounds
1. In term of strength, ionic compounds have strong forces of attraction whereas covalent compounds have weak forces of attraction.
2. Ionic compounds are soluble in water. Covalent compounds are insoluble in water.
3. Ionic compounds conduct electricity in aqueous solutions. Covalent compounds do not conduct electricity in aqueous solution.
