Difference between Primary and Permanent Teeth
1. Primary teeth have thinner enamel and dentin layers. Permanent teeth have thick enamel and dentin layer.
2. In the first one, enamel rods in the cervical area directed Occlusally. In the second one, enamel rod in the cervical area directed Gingivally.
3. Primary teeth have broad and flat contacts. Permanent teeth have point contacts.
4. Primary teeth color is usually lighter. Permanent teeth color is much darker.
