Difference between Simple gland and Compound Gland
1. In simple glands duct is unbranched. In compound gland, both the duct and secretory part are branched.
2. In simple gland, a duct is further differentiated into unbranched and branched depending upon the condition of the secretory part. In the compound, further differentiation is made on the basis of the shape of the secretory part.
