AA/AAA Rechargeable Batteries

Alkaline AAA/AA batteries are available in rechargeable and non-rechargeable types but considering their chemistry it is more economical to choose the rechargeable type. It is recommended to avoid using Alkaline based batteries in devices with high drain that deplete the alkaline based batteries at a faster rate than its normal life.
3. Nickel Cadmium
These are the ideal choice for devices that heat up very quickly, reaching high temperatures that other batteries can’t handle. They are priced cheaply when compared to other battery types of the same voltage which makes them perfect for commercial purposes.
4. Nickel Metal-Hydride
(NiMH) work best when used in extensively used devices, because before recharging if they are fully drained out of power then they tend to last for a longer period of time compared to other battery types, for example it would be better to use them in a frequently used TV remote than a hardly used digital camera. An issue with the NiMH is the fact that in idle conditions they discharge by themselves besides this they are environmentally friendlier compared to other battery types. 1. Generally, the AAA are smaller than AA batteries.
2. AA batteries tend to carry a larger amount of chemical content that AAA batteries of the same voltage size.
3. AA batteries are designed for devices that consume more power than the AAA batteries are capable of producing.
4. AAA batteries have a higher internal resistance compared to AA batteries so their maximum current output is less.
5. The general belief among battery specialists is the fact that AAA batteries generally cost more than AA but tend to deliver less in terms of power.
The AAA and AA rechargeable batteries are designed for devices with low power consumption requirements such as toys, remote control, blood glucose meters, and several other small electronics it is a wise idea to invest into expensive rechargeable battery brands as they tend to be worth their price and deliver a long lasting battery life along with several recharging cycles.
