Difference between Alluvial Soil in the Upper Course and Lower Course of rivers
1. In the Alluvial Soil in the upper course, the soil particles are bigger in size whereas in the alluvial soil in the lower course of the rivers soil particles are smaller in size.
2. Upper Course soils are coarse. Lower Course soils are less coarse.
3. The soils in the upper course are less fertile. The soils in the lower course are fertile.
