Difference between Terrazzo and Mosaic Flooring

1. In terrazzo flooring the marble chips are used with pozzolana dana. Mosaic consists of small pieces of marble or pozzolana dana arranged in the different pattern with cement.

2. The first one is used in verandas, courtyards, galleries etc while the second one is used in rooms, kitchen etc.

3. Terrazzo provides the smoother surface than mosaic flooring.

4. Terrazzo flooring can be arranged in different patterns and colours by means of marble chips. Mosaic can be arranged in different patterns and colours by using coloured cement.
