Difference between Satellite and HD Radio

1. Satellite radio offers a vast selection of radio station. HD radio provides more option than AM/FM radio but not nearly as many options as satellite radio.

2. In satellite radio, all stations are available regardless of where the listener is on the globe. HD radio has geographical limitations. Stations available depend on broadcasting location.

3. Satellite radio has subscription service and not available free to use. HD radio is free to anyone who has a receiver that can pick up HD signals.
