Differences between Synchronous and Induction Motor
1. Synchronous motor turn at exactly the same speed as the rotating magnetic field. Induction motor turn at less than synchronous speed under load.
2. Speed of Synchronous motor are 3600 rpm, 1800 rpm, etc. Speed of Induction motor are 3450 rpm, 1740 rpm, etc.
